A new brand design to mark a new beginning

To mark its progress, Excell has undergone an exciting brand makeover under its new slogan, and philosophy, 'Because pioneers keep moving'.
A strong color combination of Mimosa yellow, the color of happiness, representative of Excell’s strive to provide a level of service that is second to none, and a deep blue Jade, a color that is eternal and forever, strikes a balance between the human side of Excell and its ability to provide an excellent quality range of products.

Leading a traditional industry takes a pioneer. And that is exactly what Excell is. Over the last 30 years, Excell has certainly had its fair share of challenges. And with those challenges came opportunities. Opportunities that have seen Excell grow into one of the most successful businesses in its industry in Taiwan.

But there is more to the Excell story that meets the eye. Behind each successful pioneer there is a well oiled, well trained and well organized operation. Excell hasspent three decades of continuously improving its product development and making sure that the quality of each and every product that leaves the factory satisfies even the strictest of quality standards.

Steps have been taken to improve the design, functionality and overall usability of Excell products. New patented features, over 250 patents so far, soft-touch hand comfort and safety benefits have been integrated into Excell designs, making them ideal for the packaging industry, stationery chain stores, assembly factories, Home Centers, DIY stores and Hardware stores. The list is endless. Excell tapes, tape dispensers, stationery tapes, desk tape dispensers, stretch film dispensers, bag sealers, label dispensers and utility knives can be found on shelves in most specialized stores and large hardware retailers in more than 86 countries under its own label or bearing famous foreign and local brands.

But a company will not succeed on product quality and innovation alone. To stay ahead of the field, Excell has sought from the very beginning to invest in its people and management systems. The thinking was simple: Produce a quality, innovative product and combine it with very personalized services for each individual customer. Excell was one of the first to integrate computerized management in Taiwan over 28 years ago. Guaranteeing superior levels of pre-sales and after sales communication and on-time delivery of goods was critical in the development of Excell's reputation as a trustworthy and capable partner.

Excell self-production covers 96% of the entire production process, with departments that include Powder coating, plastic rejection, tape slitting, product assembly and steel press, all of which play an important role in keeping each and every order delivered on time. Excell is able to control the quality at each phase of production. In addition, Excell has designed and developed its own automated production equipment and facility.

But Excell doesn't stop there. Excell has also integrated a Supply Chain system for over 3000 components. This Supply Chain is a 'process' that transforms raw material and components into finished products which are eventually sold to consumers or users.

Furthermore, Excell provides advice and consulting for its many domestic and international clients to ensure smooth and long-lasting mutually beneficial partnerships.

Excell's efficiency in providing superior goods within pre-determined deadlines has been made easier with its automatic production line and “E-management system” also known as I.E.R.P(Internet Enterprise Resourcing Planning). The result is a coordinated system of organizations, people, activities, information and resources involved in moving a product or service in physical or virtual manner from supplier to customer.
